Women Leaders Forum of the Coachella Valley is proud to announce it will distribute $100,000 in college scholarship funds to members of its “Young Women Leaders Mentoring Program” at WLF’s annual Scholarship Luncheon to be held on Monday, May 20 at the Miramonte Resort & Spa.

The scholarships funds, the most ever raised in the 10-year history of WLF, are thanks to a $50,000 matching grant from Pathways to Success, and the huge success of WLF’s inaugural “Women Who Rule! Awards Luncheon and Scholarship Fundraiser.

In addition, Mr. Jim Houston will present the inaugural Jackie Lee Houston Scholarship to a deserving student from Palm Springs High School at the May 20 luncheon. The award is named after Houston’s late wife Jackie Lee, a long-time member and supporter of the Women Leaders Forum.

“Women Leaders Forum of the Coachella Valley is thrilled to present so many of our Young Women Leaders with life changing scholarships to assist them as they pursue their college educations,” said WLF President Paula Tapia.

This year WLF and its Young Women Leaders partnered with FIND Food Bank of the Coachella Valley to help feed the hungry in our community.
