Women Leaders Forum of the Coachella Valley Founder Mary Roche expressed gratitude to all of the women who have helped make WLF such a success since its founding in 2001.  Of all the organizations with which she is involved, WLF is nearest and dearest to her heart - and will remain so!

Rebecca Kenary served as WLF President for 2 years and WLF Treasurer for 2 years.  She is most proud of expanding WLF's Young Women Ambassadors Program from 18 girls from 6 Coachella Valley high schools in 2008 to over 80 girls from 10 Coachella Valley high schools this past year.  She initiated the YWA Education Program 3 years ago, which teaches leadership skills such as Public Speaking, Financial Independence, Dressing and Communicating for Success and Handling Change.  As Co-Chair of WLF's Scholarship Committee, she oversaw growth of WLF Scholarship Awards from $6500 in 2008 to $32,500 awarded to 13 young women from 10 Coachella Valley high schools this year!  In addition, she nurtured WLF's partnership with Pathways to Success, which matched $25,000 of WLF Scholarships this year, resulting in a grand total of $57,500 awarded to our YWA's.

Margot Nelligan served as WLF Secretary for 3 years.  For the past 2 years, she was Co-Chair of WLF's Annual Leadership Conference - L.E.A.D.  Margot  totally transformed the event, moving it to late afternoon / evening to make it more assessible to our members.  Attendees were given the choice of 4 different Panel Dinners,  providing a more intimate environment for inspiring leadership.

Renell Burch most recently Co-Chaired WLF's GIRLZ & Our Leaders Scholarship Fundraiser Luncheon.  Her legal expertise has been invaluable to the Board and the organization.
