Young Women Leaders Mentor Program
If you're a woman, you're a leader. If you believe in developing future leaders, you're a mentor!!
Women Leaders Forum is proud to continue the One-to-One Career Mentoring Program. YWL's who choose to participate in the Mentoring Program will be matched with a professional WLF mentor in their career field of interest.
- Each mentee/mentor will spend a minimum of 16 hours together.
- This opportunity will be available as a priority to high school seniors.
- All participants in the mentor program are responsible for their own transportation to and from the work site.
Last year we paired close to 50 professional women with mentees, and this year we are on track for even more.
Young Women Leaders are required to sign a contract committing to 100% attendance of all three mandatory educational seminars along with the 16-hour commitment with their mentor, signed parental consent and waiver forms.
All consent forms and mentoring information will be provided at our orientation held during our first educational session on October 7, 2012, at the U.C. Riverside Palm Desert Graduate Center from 12 pm to 4 pm. Please sign-up on line before the first session under YWL tab of the website.
We ask that all Mentors be active WLF members. If you would like to become a member, click here.

"The Women Leaders Forum has taught me to put forth my full effort in achieving whatever short term as well as long term goals may be. They are visual proof that leadership comes from strength within, from hard work, and by embracing change. "
