Speaker: Colonel Patricia M. Webb, USAF. "Taking the Lead in Military and Civilian Life"

   

WLF Member Colonel Pat M. Webb,  from the United States Air Force will share her inspirational story of how she has forged through the "glass ceiling" in military and civilian life . She served as a senior advisor to Senator Hillary R. Clinton (D-NY) and Col. Webb will continue to work with the former senator in Clinton's new role as Secretary of State.  Colonel Webb is presently the senior individual mobilization augmentee (IMA) and reserve advisor to the director of warfighter system integrations and deployment at the U.S. Air Force headquarters in Washington D.C.

Colonel Webb is also a master navigator who has flown worldwide refueling missions in support of Desert Shield/Desert Storm, humanitarian relief in Somalia, and counterdrug and firefighting airdrop missions. She has received many awards and decorations for her service including the Meritorious Service Medal, Aerial Achievement Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. In a volunteer capacity, Colonel Webb very successfully prepares issues to lobby before Congress for the Reserve Officer Association in support of all military. She also maintains a civilian career in the defense industry as a senior member and director in Science Applications International Corporation's (SAIC) Technology and Advanced Systems Business Unit supporting the Intelligence Community.
